They also praise the alliance between Latin American peoples fighting for their freedoms and the New Afrikan movement.

Listed below in the order they appear in the document: Communique #3 asserts solidarity with the Republic of New Africa (RNA)'s efforts to acquire land in Hinds County, Miss. and denounces state violence against the RNA. Communique #1 refers to sending license plates sought by state authorities and asserts the need for revolutionary armed struggle against American fascism in the U.S. and in Vietnam. Communique #4 is a report from the George Jackson Squad of the BLA reporting on a police raid in Lower Manhattan. The end of the communique is cut off at the bottom of the page. Communique #12 is a eulogy to comrade Dedane Olugbala (Zayd Malk Shakur). This document also includes an excerpt of a communique, the beginning of which is missing, explaining the BLA's stance towards robbery and crime and denouncing robbery charges against BLA members.

The Nature of Black Revolution

That is to say we hold that the tens of millions of Black people scattered throughout the amerikkan indistrial centers constitute a nation, a colony. We seek the liberation of that colony -- as a nation, and not as a mere class or racial minority. In other words, we reject the Proletarian Revolution in the generally accepted sense of the term, and opt for Black Revolution."
