Raw recordings of interviews used in Colin Edwards' series Californians of Mexican Descent. These tapes focus on the themes of culture, language, assimilation, faith, dances, artists, food, family relations, taste/talent in music, drama, values, psychology and the how, when and why they came to the United States. These raw interviews would be edited and combined to create the content for the ten part series Californians of Mexican Descent (located in the Colin Edwards Collection).
