Peoples Witness

This publication reports on major issues affecting prisoners from a Communist, Marxist-Leninist political perspective. It discusses both the events taking place in the context of revolutionary struggle, as well as the philosophies behind them. There is a focus on the importance of unity in the prison movement, strikes taking place in prisons, and what prisoners are demanding through those strikes. It draws a connection between the prison movement and the concept of the Lumpen Proletariat. Several issues also include discussion of the tactics of the Symbionese Liberation Army, and the Black Panther Party.
