A letter from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Accra, Ghana to Vicki Garvin informing her that the government of Ghana will declare the house W.E.B Du Boise lived in Accra a National Monument and Memorial Centre for Pan African Culture. A committee was formed to oversee programming that promotes Pan African Culture. DuBois's remains are to be placed in a tomb that will stay on the premises and personal items are to be displayed in a library within the home. Attached to this letter is another letter that Garvin wrote to an unnamed friend about this development in Accra.
