David Rice (Mondo we Langa) and Edward Poindexter were charged and convicted of the murder of a Omaha Police Officer in 1970. Poindexter and Rice were members of the Black Panther Party and were targeted by COINTELPRO. Mondo we Langa passed away in 2016. This collection also contains copies of Buffalo Chip, a quarterly newsletter published by Nebraskans for Justice to provide information about justice issues in the US, especially political prisoners. Ed Poindexter and Mondo we Langa are often the focus.
