Based upon specifications of the death row visiting room at San Quentin Prison, California, Richard Kamler's The Waiting Room is an interactive installation of images, sounds, and citizens. The Waiting Room seeks through the evocative power of art, to engage the difficult questions asked above as part of a public forum that strives ultimately to enable us to learn how to live with ourselves and out neighbors in peaceful, forgiving ways.
