Patrick Hooty Croy

Patrick Hooty Croy is a Karuk-Shasta Indian from Yreka, CA who shot and killed a police officer in self-defense in July 1978. Croy was sentenced to death but after a second trial was ultimately acquitted on murder charges and released. He was released from custody March 20th, 2005.
