The White Panthers were White, leftist, anti-racists who formed the party in support of the Black Panther Party. White Panther Party chapters in San Francisco and Berkeley remained active into the 1980s. The White Panther Party ran a successful 'Food Conspiracy' that provided groceries to about 5,000 Bay Area residents at low cost, due to bulk buying and minimum markup.
